This short book is an easy read, and does give some helpful information for the person considering a move to Panama. The author give much more information on the Panama City area, and only a very small amount relating to Chiriqui Province, so depending on where one is interested in, will determine how useful the book may, or may not be to the reader. It does have several typos which could have been easily prevented with some proofreading, but other than annoying, it does not detract from the useful information within the book.
its got great info rescorces and a realistic commentary on life in panama . a great quick read
The author gave a realistic view of what to prepare for when considering retiring in Panama. My disappointment is I expected an insider's description of areas:city, coastal, interior areas that will be helpful for someone considering a move and has never been to Panama

Good information but the book is full of misspelled words or the incorrect word is used. I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for it.
